Oil Fin Heater: Heating up a small space in a living room or bedroom can take time with this kind of heater. Oil fin heaters, warms the air with their metal fins, it uses electricity to heat the oil, which is sealed inside the fins or ‘columns’. Then the heated oil is passed on to the casing and to the air circulating the columns. The advantage of the oil fin heater is that there is no noise and it maintain its heat for a while after it is being switched off.
Radiant Heater: Quick intense heat can produce very fast with a radiant heater. The problem with this type of heater is, it rarely has a temperature control, making it inefficient for use for a long period of time. The convection heater is design to pull cold air over the heated element thus producing warm air. Then the warm air descends from the heater and pushed outwards by the fan inside the unit. The fan enhances the convection effect allowing the room to warm up effectively.
