Introduction

Everyone loves Gelato! Gelato Messina is one of JD Lighting's latest and proudest projects to date. Situated in South Brisbane, Gelato Messina is the latest internationally renowned ice cream sensation to open its Brisbane store on March 29, 2017. The 200m2 space has a unique retro vibe like no other, thanks to the effective combination of exposed and raw finishes with the softening touches of timbers and textiles. For this project, the use of custom fabricated LED strip lights is truly the jewel in the crown here as it highlights the key interior artworks of the space. Plus, it makes the gelato looks so delicious! This project truly showcases the power of lighting in creating that retro vibe for Gelato Messina. Special shoutout to our partner from Creed Electrical for their quality workmanship in installing these lighting fixtures as always.
